Byron Sturges, Co. H, 3rd Artillery, was enrolled at Erie, Pa. on Feb. 20, 1864 and mustered in the same day as a Private at Waterford, Pa. His age at enrollment was 24 and had a fair complexion, brown hair, brown hair, and was 5' 11 1/2" tall. He was a teacher who resided in Friendship, New York. Veteran. Mustered out July 25, 1865.
